From the cook

Leonard's daughter Judy sent in this recipe. The family first had it at the LaComedia Theater in Dayton, Ohio, and asked for the recipe; it became known as "Paw Paw's sweet potatoes," which he always made for family gatherings.

What we changed or couldn’t read (2)
  • Stick of butter printed without a count; 1 stick is a best guess.
  • "Next four ingredients" / "last four ingredients" refer to the printed list order, which the OCR scrambled; the split shown (sugar, eggs, salt, milk in the potatoes; brown sugar, flour, pecans, melted butter as topping) is a best guess.
